This year’s vendors
Ribs Royale BBQ hails from Nevada, USA. We compete in various ribfests across Canada. We are known for our succulent, savoury, fall-off-the-bone, RIBS, CHICKEN & PULLED PORK! In 2012 alone we won over 40 first place awards, and best ribs, best sauce categories. Please visit our website www.ribsroyale.com.
Camp 31 was founded in 1908 as a “Saw Mill” general store outside the city of the Brewton, Alabama in Escambia County. In 1985, CAMP 31 was re-opened, this time serving up mouth-watering Southern Bar-B-Que. The Brewton Police Dept. knew Camp 31 had the best BBQ in the south and helped us enter our first BBQ cook-off in Pensacola, Florida. In the 1986 cook-off we won 3 first place trophies, and since, touring of the US and Canada has not stopped. The store is now headquarters to our award-winning cook-off team.
Jack The Ribber
Jack the Ribber is based in London, ON. The backbone of their operation is an “Ole Hickory Pits” wood burning smoker that smokes 226 St. Louis racks at a time. The finished product, ribs or chicken, is bbq’d on a wood burning, hickory open flame BBQ.
Billy Bones BBQ
Celebrating over 30 years of excellence! Billy Bones BBQ & crew have traveled the entire United States, Canada and even Ireland winning state and national barbecue competitions. Our sauces have won over 350 awards. We offer BBQ sauces, BBQ rubs, hot sauces and competition dry rubs for ribs, pork, chicken and more.
The Hogfather BBQ
Frank Puskarich and his wife Kathleen, both coming from the restaurant business, spent a lot of time wondering what it would be like to open their own BBQ joint in their hometown. Frank and Kathy soon found themselves on the road to greet a broader audience and share what became the true essence of “Hog father’s Old Fashioned BBQ.”
Since their opening in March of 2007, Hog father’s has been recognized throughout the BBQ community with several awards including Best Ribs, Best Pulled Pork and THE #1 Mac & Cheese far and wide!
Fat boy’s BBQ
Legend has it that Fatboys founder Shawn Dawson was inspired after a 1000-mile road trip on his Harley Davidson FATBOY. A trip that took him through the Carolinas, Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia. After 25 years in the restaurant business, this was what he had always been looking for: an opportunity to combine his love of southern hospitality, biker ambience, and good ‘ol fashion slow and low BBQ ,now known to Ottawa as the Fatboys experience.
